YATO YT-82920 is an 18 V cordless Dual Action (DA) orbital polisher with a brushless motor, designed for automotive paint correction, polishing, finishing and waxing.
Unlike a conventional rotary polisher, the YT-82920 combines rotation with a 16 mm orbital movement. This Dual Action system helps distribute polishing action more evenly, reducing the risk of excessive heat build-up and holograms on automotive paintwork.
The 150 mm polishing pad and electronically adjustable 1500–5000 rpm speed range make the machine suitable for different stages of paint correction and finishing.
A 3.0 Ah Li-Ion battery, fast charger and three polishing pads of different hardness levels are included, making this a complete ready-to-use set.
The YT-82920 features a Dual Action mechanism with a 16 mm orbit.
This provides several advantages:
The machine is powered by a modern brushless motor, providing efficient battery use, reduced mechanical wear and lower maintenance requirements compared with conventional brushed motors.
Electronic speed control allows the operating speed to be adjusted between 1500 and 5000 rpm.
Lower speeds can be used for spreading polishing compounds or wax, while higher settings are suitable for more intensive polishing depending on the compound, pad and paint condition.
The Soft Start function provides smoother start-up and improved control.
