YATO YT-82188 is a cordless band saw designed for professional installation, construction and steel fabrication work. It is suitable for cutting metal profiles, pipes, stainless steel and hardened steel. Cordless operation provides excellent mobility when working on construction sites and in locations without convenient access to mains power.
The large 127 × 127 mm cutting capacity allows the saw to handle larger steel profiles and pipes. It is particularly useful for installing gates, fences, steel structures, pipework and other metal components.
Band saw technology allows metal to be cut without intensive sparking, while generating less heat at the cutting point compared with conventional abrasive cutting using an angle grinder. This makes the tool particularly useful when cutting galvanized profiles and performing installation work in finished areas.
The metal housing improves resistance to mechanical loads and assists heat dissipation during operation. The blade replacement and tensioning system is designed for tool-free operation, making blade changes quicker and more convenient.
An integrated LED work light improves visibility of the cutting area when working in poorly illuminated locations.
The YT-82188 is part of the YATO 18 V cordless system and can be powered by compatible YATO 18 V Li-Ion batteries of various capacities.
