YATO YT-82174 is a professional sliding miter saw designed for cutting both wood and metal. Its two-speed system allows the correct operating mode to be selected for the material: 3800 rpm for wood and 2500 rpm for metal.
The saw is suitable for straight, miter and bevel cuts in construction, installation, finishing and metal fabrication work. It can be used for wood, panels, laminates, plastics and steel profiles.
The machine uses a 255 mm saw blade with a 25.4 mm bore. Maximum straight cutting length is up to 305 mm, making it suitable for wider workpieces.
The cutting head can be rotated horizontally up to ±45° and tilted up to 45°. Clearly marked angle scales and detents for commonly used positions make angle setting quicker and more accurate.
An integrated Class 2 laser cutting guide helps position the workpiece accurately. Side table extensions support longer materials, while the integrated clamp securely holds the workpiece during cutting.
Dust and chips can be collected using the supplied bag or an external dust extraction system.
