The YATO YT-820502 is a professional 1800 W magnetic drill designed for precise drilling in steel structures, profiles, beams and large load-bearing ferromagnetic components. Its high power, strong electromagnetic base and versatile tool mounting system make it ideal for demanding construction, assembly, fabrication and workshop applications.
The machine supports core drilling up to Ø50 mm and conventional twist drilling up to Ø13 mm, with a maximum drilling depth of 50 mm. Its large 180 mm working stroke provides increased flexibility when machining thicker components.
A Morse MT2 taper allows compatible tools to be mounted directly, while the supplied MT2–Weldon adapter enables the use of professional annular cutters. This configuration gives the machine excellent versatility for both core drilling and conventional drilling operations.
The 0–550 rpm variable speed control allows precise adjustment to suit the cutter and material. A reverse function helps release jammed tools and also enables thread tapping operations.
The powerful electromagnetic base delivers up to 13,800 N of holding force, allowing operation in horizontal, vertical and inverted positions when the required safety measures are followed.
An integrated coolant system supplies cutting fluid directly to the cutting zone. When the Weldon adapter is used, coolant can be delivered through the spindle. Cutting paste or spray lubricant may also be used for vertical and overhead work.
Suitable for:
For maximum magnetic holding force, the contact surface should be clean, flat and continuous. Remove rust, paint, oil, metal chips and other contamination before use.
Minimum recommended base thickness: 12 mm.
Minimum continuous ferromagnetic steel thickness for magnetic adhesion: 10 mm.
When working vertically or overhead, always use the additional safety equipment specified by the manufacturer.
